Best Sites That Will Drastically Improve Your Life

This is going to be a slightly different post.

Usually I review a specific product and explain how it will help you achieve your goals.

In this post I’m going to review the best sites I have seen in my life.

By ‘review’ I really mean tell you how awesome these sites are and how they will change your life.

I am going to talk about a lot of completely different websites. Some will be blogs and others websites that sell a product or service. I honestly don’t even know which sites I’m going to list yet because I haven’t written an outline or anything.

I was suddenly inspired to write this post while I was reflecting on the past year. I was thinking about how different my life would be if I had never stumbled across GoodLookingLoser.

I would have less muscle, more fat, less confidence and a lower net worth.

I’m grateful I found GLL to say the least…

In an effort to not drag this introduction out any longer than necessary, I’ll get started right away.

(Have you noticed I tend to ramble in my introductions? – Please leave a comment)

Since GLL inspired this post I am going to start off with it…

Great Blogs for Men

Good Looking Loser by Chris Deoudes

GLL covers everything from picking up girls to making money online. A lot of the information you can find online about getting good with woman is basically a rip-off of his work.

Chris is the best at what he does.

He has lots of experience in everything he talks about which allows him to go into far more detail than other ‘experts’.

Chris is the real deal when it comes to:

  • Building a business (He owns Red Supplements)
  • Getting laid
  • Building a great body
  • Steroids and other performance enhancing substances
  • Avoiding hair loss
  • And even: growing a longer Dick

His blog is split into two sites: GLL and Get a Life

Both are excellent but they focus on slightly different topics. Get a Life by GLL is his ‘safe for work’ blog.

Although, it’s only safe for work by Chris’ standards. By mainstream standards it’s still incredibly offensive and might get you in trouble if you read it on a work computer.

But that’s just the nature of the topics he talks about.

If his content were politically correct it would suck.

Most blogs that are completely PC aren’t worth your time anyway.

Wall Street Playboys

This is a unique blog that is run by a group of successful Wall street bankers. The tone of their blog is considered harsh by a lot of people. But those people miss the point completely.

They are doing it on purpose!

Their goal is to only keep the type of person as readers who will likely succeed in the future. They are screening out losers and you can tell as soon as you look at the comments.

They have a couple regular commenters who are clearly successful in their own way.

This is what a high-quality blog should be in my opinion: A place for intelligent people to gather and share their experiences with each other.

And WSP have created this situation perfectly.

They don’t post frequently anymore. But when they do, you always get something special.

They cover mostly personal finances and how to become wealthy in every area of life (health, money, relationships).

In short, WallstreetPlayboys.com is about winning at life.

30 Days to X by Robert Koch

Robert started his blog as a way to keep himself accountable and share his experiences with the world.

For the first year, he set himself a goal every month to improve at something. Then he wrote about how he was improving this skill.

If you’re interested in the same things as him his old posts will help you learn quicker.

In my case his site gave me new ideas.

Thanks to him I started learning to write copy.

I had no idea that I could get paid to write content for others.

And more to the point, I had no idea how easy it was!

His posts are rarely step-by-step guides. I think this is on purpose because he wants his readers to think for themselves.

And I am thankful for that.

He points you in the right direction by telling you which books to read but then you have to figure it out by yourself.

The required work probably stops 90% of his readers from taking any action.

Well, that just means there’s less competition for the 10% that do.

Sounds pretty good to me.

He does a lot of reviews of books he’s read and you will recognise some of the books from RedpillReviews.com

I also really like his advice on making money.

He is a young guy who has learned by testing a lot of different stuff and seeing what works.

That makes him the perfect person to learn from in my opinion.

Bold&Determined by Victor Pride

You probably already know Victor so I hardly need to introduce him.

He is the original, successful men’s interest blogger.

His site is huge and filled with great advice.

But what I love about B&D, is that you can see Victor Pride improve over time.

His site has been around for over 5 years. You’ve probably changed a lot in the past 5 years.

Well, so has Victor.

If you’re not improving every year, you are doing something horribly wrong.

Victor writes about what interests him at any point in his life. He follows the mindset of: If I find this interesting, so will other people.

His content focuses on a wide range of topics. Lifting weights, Mindset, making money and finding the right girlfriend.

Some of his content is purely for motivation.

Personally, I don’t read for motivation and neither should you.

But with hundreds of posts you’ll definitely find something that will be useful to you.

Sexy Style For Joe by Darius Belejevas

This is a smaller website but a great one nonetheless. Darius takes the topic of men’s style and puts a seduction/getting girls twist on it.

His site is truly unique.

Unlike others, he doesn’t show you how to dress well. Instead, he shows you how to dress in a way that makes you more attractive to women.

For me his message strikes a chord.

I don’t care about dressing to impress style gurus.

I want to maximize my attractiveness and I know a lot of you feel the same way.

That’s why you’ll benefit from reading Darius’ site. By following his advice you will make yourself more attractive to women.

And the great thing about style is that the results are instant!

If you start learning today, you could improve your style right away.

You’ll probably notice an immediate difference in how women treat you too.

If you want to learn how to improve your style as efficiently as possible, check out ‘Nerdy To Sexy‘ on Amazon.

Alternatively, you could get most of the information for free on his website. Decide for yourself if you would rather spend your time or money on improving your appearance.

But honestly, I hope your value your time enough to just spend $5 and get the book.

Saving $5 is not worth a couple of hours of your time if you are a busy man (which you should be).

Kinobody by Greg O’Gallagher

I recently reviewed one of Greg’s successful programs. (You can read my review here and check out the program here)

His programs are great and so is his site. He does YouTube videos too so you can choose how you want to consume his content.

I only recently found Kinobody.com through Darius from SSFJ. I saw right away that we have similar opinions on weight training.

He talks a lot about fitting fitness into your life instead of making it your number one priority. I couldn’t agree more!

This is a problem I see with most fitness websites. They are usually run by people who devote their entire life to lifting and dieting. This makes them less relatable to people who just want to get in shape. And in my opinion most people’s number one priority shouldn’t be the gym.

It’s often good to prioritize getting in shape for a year or so. But after that you can make small improvements from year to year without being obsessed with training.

If the only place you’re improving is the weight room, you are doing something wrong.

You should focus on improving all aspects of your life.

I seem to be hating on lifting weights. But that isn’t the case at all.

I think everyone should lift weights.

But 3 times a week is enough. If you train more than that you should have a specific reason for doing so (athletes, people who make a living based on their fitness).

Going to the gym is an important habit but it can also be an excuse to not work towards your other goals.

Getting back to Kinobody…

Go to his site and read his articles. If you like what you see, I highly recommend getting one of his programs and following it exactly as laid out.

You will reach your goals with less time in the gym without having to give up all the things you enjoy in your life.

Juggernaut Fitness TV by Jason Blaha

Alright, I know this isn’t a website but Jason’s YouTube channel is far too valuable to not have him on this list.

He is the only fitness channel I watch on a regular basis.

Jason has years of experience with lifting weights. He is the real deal.

Some of his videos are quite controversial. He calls out other people in this industry for lying about drug use.

His openness about the use of performance enhancing drugs in the sports and fitness world is refreshing. But I rarely watch those videos anymore.

Once you’ve seen a couple of videos from his ‘Fake Natty’ series, you understand the point: Steroids are common and people lie about using them.

Beyond that there isn’t much to gain by watching the ‘Fake Natty’ series.

If you honestly care whether Guru X is using anabolic steroids, you are a loser.

Please do not read this blog.

I write this site for men who want to achieve something in their life.

If you get emotional about who lies about performance enhancing drugs, you are wasting your time.

It is the way it is and none of us can change it.

Work on improving your own life rather than trying to change the way the world works.

You’ll achieve more and be happier that way (I promise).

With all that out the way, let’s get to why Jason’s videos are so good…

He is an expert and he isn’t trying to make an extra couple of dollars by lying to you.

That’s basically what it comes down to.

That’s why myself and many others value his opinion.

Closing Thoughts

This has become a long post. I believe all the sites on this list will help you become a better man in some way.

That’s not to say there aren’t other great sites.

I will probably add some to the list from time to time.

But if you could only read these sites for the rest of your life, you would do very well.

Because of the length of this post I decided to only include blogs.

I might write a similar post about websites that sell products in the future.

But for now you can check out these companies that I recommend:

RedSupplements – Great Coffee

HostGator – Hosting Provider I use

Namecheap – Where I get my domain names

Until next time,

PS: If you want to get an e-mail every time I post a new article, you can sign up for my list in the sidebar.

    No Danger and Play?

Mikael Syding is a retired hedge fund manager who has an interesting blog on lifestyle and investing with a free ebook on the rise and fall of his hedge fund (read it). Pretty niche, but I liked it

    StartGainingMomentum is also pretty good

      Hi Ryan
      Those are all great sites!
I didn’t include Danger & Play because I recommend people read his books (Gorilla Mindset and Essays on Embracing Masculinity) instead of reading his blog.

I only recently discovered StartGainingMomentum and Mikael Syding. I’ll be including them both in an upcoming series where I link to the best posts from around the web.

      Thanks for the suggestions!
